Fibre Filter Scrubber Vessel

Design, workshop preparation, site assembly and erection, finishing and testing of 1 No. 2000m³ Ammonium Nitrite Scrubber (Fibre Filter). Vessel. Stainless steel vessel dimensions 13m diameter x 16m shell height.

Detail design generally in accordance with BSEN 14015 –2004. Design Pressure 40 mbar / 80 mbar vacuum.

Vessel fabrication from stainless steel grade 304L throughout. Plate thickness 8mm to 16mm.

Vessel fully welded internally and externally with the following features:

- 12mm plate coned roof with internal supporting structure.

- Vessel internals – tube sheet to support 132 No. 600mm dia candle filter elements, internal frame to support mesh pad eliminator, internal spray pipe manifolds with common internal stainless steel support structure.

- Inlet and outlet ductwork connections (5.0m x 2.0m)

- Access manholes with davits to all internal areas

- Overflow and drain connections

- 60 No. Internal spray pipes

- Peripheral external access platforms at 3 levels – with open mesh flooring, handrails and caged access ladders. All access steelwork finished with a 3 coat paint system

- Installation of free-issue items including 132 No. candle filter units and mesh pad filters.

- Design Manufacture and Site Construction of vessel to CDM regulations
