Introduction
For over 20
years, the company has maintained the highest standards of engineering
excellence from its base in Thornaby, Teesside. We provide a comprehensive
service in fabrication, machining, assembly and testing for a wide
spectrum of clients within the Chemical, Iron & Steel, Power
Generation, Marine, Off-Shore, Oil and other process and general
industries.
We strive to
work in close partnership with our customers, using our engineering
skills and our commercial judgement to help our customers achieve
the highest quality products at the lowest practicable cost, with
full QA certification if required.
Machining
We offer the following sub-contract machining facilities
as required:
Horizontal Boring: Items of up to 6 tonnes tables
loading can be handled.
Vertical Boring: Max. table loading of up to 10 tonnes,
maximum diameter of 3.8 metres and height of 1.8 metres underbridge.
Turning Capability: Up to 1.37 metres swing and 3.2
metres length.
Milling, Drilling & Slotting facilities also available.
Fabrication
We have the capability of welding structures up to
10 tonnes (single lift), using carbon, stainless and non-ferrous
metals. All welding is carried out by coded qualified personnel.
Methods used are Manual Metal Arc, TIG and MIG.
We also have profile burning facilities using a Sparrowhawk
Twinhead Profile Burner.
Assembly
The assembly of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic
systems can be handled, inspected and tested using 10 tonne overhead
craneage. We specialise in the construction and development of prototypes
to customer's specifications offering our extensive experience in
this field to ensure successful project implementation.
A full refurbishment and replacement service for your
existing plant and equipment is also available. All work carried
out can be accompanied by full Q.A Certification if required.
