Cordell chimney and exhaust stack operations provide the complete engineering service for all design, fabrication and installation of systems.
Using our experienced staff we are able to design, fabricate and install chimneys and exhaust stacks including flue gas exhaust systems and boiler casings and multi-flue chimneys and flarestacks. We can also design and fabricate bulk material handling equipment such as chutes and conveyors, and hoppers and bunkers.
Bespoke chimneys are manufactured to suit client and site requirements and can include access systems (platforms, ladders, handrails etc.), lighting systems, inlet / outlet manifolds, architectural features, linings, wind sheaths etc.
Our capabilities include:
- Multi-flue chimneys with internal liners to suit any size and number of flue gas sources. All specifically designed to suit client or process requirements, ranging from chimneys with full internal access and lighting systems etc, to completely sealed units.
- Double-skinned chimneys with internal insulated liner within a sealed windshield.
- Single-flue chimneys (externally insulated and clad as required)
Chimneys can be fabricated in sections to facilitate transportation and site construction requirements. Dismantling and rebuilds are also carried out.
All chimney design is carried out from our head office and is complemented by a full CAD draughting facility, together with overall project management service.
Manufacturing takes place at our workshop in Sunderland and our site construction team carry out all aspects of the on-site installation service.
