Research & Pilot Plants

Cordell Group offers engineering and maintenance services to the research and development sector including the creation of pilot plants.

Our expertise comprises research scale plant and equipment including the initial design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of plants and equipment through to ongoing modifications, breakdown and preventative maintenance.

We have a dedicated, experienced multi-disciplined team including fine mechanics; instrument, electrical and mechanical technicians and engineers; and a scientific glassblower. We have a considerable track record and the capability to design, build, maintain, overhaul and modify small-scale rigs and pilot plants.

With our history in the Research field we are experienced in working with standard ferrous and non ferrous metals as well as exotic materials such as titanium, C276 and other versions of hastelloy. We also have vast experience working in hazardous areas, high temperatures and pressures including offering safe operation of each individual unit.

From our 100 m2 covered workshops and offices on the Wilton complex, we can provide the following:
