We consequently invest heavily in staff training and development. Our workforce development programme identifies training needs at group, company, departmental and individual levels. Our training needs are met by in-house and external training courses
To continue growth we need to cultivate tomorrow’s Supervisors and Managers. To make that happen we operate a comprehensive apprentice and graduate training programme, both of which have proven both popular and successful. Underpinning these and our regular training is the Cordell Group Workforce Development Programme.
Our Quality Management System is accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and has been assessed, approved and accredited by NQA. Accreditation of OHSAS 18001 has also been acheived with full approval given in July 2009, ahead of schedule.
Our in house trainers are nationally accredited by ITSSAR for delivery of: - pendant crane, slinger signaller, manual handling, abrasive wheels, aluminium towers & ladders & MEWP (scissors lift and elevating boom) and from CHUBB Fire; stand by Fireman and Fire Warden/Marshall.
