ASR Acquisition
Cordell Group is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of a well-established, Middlesbrough based, control systems integrator company, ASR Technology.
As of 1st August 2008, the ongoing operations, assets, goodwill and employees of ASR Technology have been transferred to Cordell Group, expanding our control systems and panel building business area’s.
Formed in 1990, ASR has been providing high quality control solutions to deliver improvements in the process industry for over 18 years. ASR have recognised over the recent years that the business potential, and the next stage in its growth, can best be delivered in the hands of a company with greater managerial and financial resources.
The company will be a wholly owned subsidiary company of Cordell and will trade under the name ‘Cordell ASR Technology Ltd’. Based on current trading levels, the acquisition will add in the region of £1.5M to Cordell’s turnover.
The acquisition will also bring many new clients to Cordell Group and will contribute greatly to our panel manufacture business area. ASR has an established client base locally, nationally and overseas.
The acquisition brings with it 15 employees to Cordell Group.
