Pearl River

Founded in 1859 as a small railroad town, Pearl River is located in the Northeast corner of St. Tammany Parish. It wasn't until 1886 that the town constructed its first train station and first store two years later. Incorporated in 1906, Pearl River officially became a town in 1964.

Pearl River is a family-oriented town with a safe community and a low crime rate. Neighbors know neighbors and everyone is family. Its citizens come together to support the community and each other when in need. The town is situated roughly 40 minutes from downtown New Orleans and 30 minutes from the Mississippi Gulf Coast's white sandy beaches.
